Good and Evil is a dance drama in three sketches written by Taufiq Bakixanov and choreographed by Rashid Akhmedov. The story is based on the novel by Nizami and premiered on April 25, 1993, at the Baku Academy of Music. The drama portrays the battle between good and evil in three different settings: Intrada, Desert, and Oasis. The story follows the journey of Welcome, a young girl who disguises herself as a man to escape her tormentor. However, her tormentor recognizes her and follows her. The drama ends with a hypnotic impact on the life-giving miracle garden, where Evil subjects Koksagyz and Liana to its oppressive will, entangling loops of intrigue.
